Theatre by the community
for the community.
Since 1987
Hello! The stage is set, let us begin.
We’re a theatre group that encourages people to find positive ways of dealing with life’s difficult situations through theatrical productions.
Always looking for new members!
Inter-Act Theatre is a non-profit society committed to the preparation and presentation of social theatre on current social and health issues. Our goal is to encourage people to find positive ways of dealing with life’s difficult situations.
It is called Inter-Act because it explores inter-relationships among people and promotes inter-action between players and audiences in the process of seeking solutions to life’s challenges.
Every year our society looks to the community for people that want to change the world by telling their stories. What our society offers is the means to help tell these stories.

We're about empowerment
…people being the experts in their own lives and being able to use theatre to make change. The process gives a community the opportunity to develop ’emotional intelligence’ – using a symbolic language to investigate alternative approaches to hard-to-talk-about issues.
